Built specifically in the late 1800's for the visit of the then Prince of Wales, who subsequently became George V of England, the bar with its comfortable seating and fine wood paneling, offers a full selection of cocktails, liqueurs and brandies. The Prince of Wales Room is located beside the main drawing room and is Ashford Castle's formal cocktail lounge.
