7 Preparation in advance of coming
We ask all interns to do some research into the hotel you have chosen to join (www.ashford.ie) - it is advantageous for you to know, in advance how many rooms we have, restaurant menus, facilities and services on offer etc.
In addition, research into some of the local tourist attractions in the Galway/ Mayo are e.g. Connemara Region, Westport, Kylemore and Cong Abbey, Croke Patrick, etc. Guests will often ask you about these so, it's helpful to know.... the more prepared you are, the easier you will find it to be to settle into the hotel.
